Dream Fulfilled

Proverbs 13:12(NLT)

Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a dream fulfilled is a tree of life.

Dream Fulfilled – Transforming an aspiration into a real life achievement.

The imagination of goals coming into reality, it brings such satisfaction and joy.

Dreams can represent ambitions, hopes, desires, for a vision of a great future.

That dream may be fulltime ministry, higher education, any career, a business, a non profit, motivational speaker, community work, a foundation, a charity or any public service.

In the process of fulfilling a dream there can be disappointment, which can leave you heart broken.

Continued disappointment can leave you emotionally crushed, but you can bounce back and continue.

If you decide to pivot or revise your dream, let it be your choice, only when you just lose the desire to continue.

Sometimes you may have to just get away and reset, but again let it be your choice.

Things we must realize:

1. The reality of delay

When we invest our energy into a goal or dream, and it is pushed back or delayed, seems like it is taking forever to materialize, it can cause discouragement and emotional sickness.

A delay is not a denial, keep going.

2. We must manage our expectations

We do need timelines, but we need to avoid creating false hope for ourselves, especially if we are trying to impress others or compare our journey with someone else.

3. Enjoy the process

This may be the hardest thing to do, but we must congratulate ourselves for small successes, no matter how small.

We must not have unreasonable or unrealistic goals for ourselves.

If we fall short of or have a bad day just get up the next day and continue on.

4. Share your journey

Maybe not with many, that’s up to you, but hopefully at least one.

5. Eliminate distractions

You get out of something the time you put in it.

We must watch our habits, social media consumption, or anything that steals our time and energy from our goals.

Dreams Fulfilled not only gives us personal joy and satisfaction, but can help others also, can give others the motivation and inspiration to do the same.

Dreams Fulfilled are not accidental, they happen intentionally, with hard work, God’s help, hopefully the help of others.

It is great for others to believe in you, but that is not a prerequisite to fulfill your dream, God believes in you.
