Micah 6:8(NKJV)
He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD Require of you. But to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.
The message of God has always been there same, treat people the way you want to be treated, love your neighbor as yourself.
Through the Prophet Micah, God told the people what is good in his eyes and what does He require of us.
Do Justly – Actively practice fairness, integrity, and treating everyone right.
Not just in a legal sense, but in all personal and professional interactions.
Good is not just a passive state of being good, but actively doing what is right and just.
Love Mercy – Make kindness, compassion, and forgiveness a central part of our lives, rather than a reluctant duty.
Mercy for some can be hard, depending on the situation, especially with individuals that have done you great harm, it can take time.
But let it be the desire of your heart.
Walk Humbly with Your God – A heart not full of pride and arrogance, living a life in daily dependence on God, with gratitude and a surrendered heart.
Walking Humbly with God doesn’t mean false humility, denying who you are as a person and minimizing the things you have accomplished.
Humility is realizing it is God who has given you the strength and ability to be who you are.
The Lord’s Requirements are not a bunch of rules and regulations, but a surrendered heart to God and his purpose for your life.
The Lord’s requirements, they have never changed, timeless principles.
