Watch What You Hear

Romans 10:17(NKJV)

So then, faith comes by hearing, and hearing the words of God.

If faith comes by what we hear, then fear or the like of faith comes by what we hear.

We can be intentional in what we hear, it can really affect our lives, positively or negatively.

If Faith comes by hearing then fear then doubt and fear comes by hearing, so what we hear is very important.

So many times in the bible and other inspirational books there are concepts that are talking about one thing that can be applied to many areas of our lives.

Romans 10:17 is specifically talking about the message of Christ, the good news, how hearing the good news can enhance our faith.

Same way with constantly listening to bad news all day long, we know we have challenges as a society, but listening to it all day is not helping us.

There are a lot of bad things happening in the world, but there are also a lot of good things happening.

If we ever find ourselves always down and sad, like of faith and hope, we might want to watch what we are listening to.

Our faith, hope can be enhanced or diminished by what we constantly focus on.

We need to know what’s going on in the world, but we should not let it keep us down then we are no use to anyone else.

When family and friends become a source of constant bad news and discouragement we need to set boundaries with them.

Watching what we hear is vital for our inner peace and mental health.

We need to be aware of what’s going on in the news and our surroundings, but not at the expense of our mental health.

So many times we hear, watch what we say or see, these are very important to our relationships with others.

Watching what we hear or read is very important to our own mental health and inner piece.

Watch What You Hear – You may not perfect it, but we all can do better.
