Pick Your Battles

Ecclesiastes 3:8(ERV)

There is a time to love and a time to hate. There is a time for war and a time for peace.

Pick Your Battles – Choosing to argue or fight about the most important things and letting minor arguments go.

It is a strategic way to preserve our time, energy, and emotions for things that really matter.

That is whether it is a marriage, friendship, work places, dealing with our kids and other loved ones.

I’m not referring to wars engage by nations and our leaders, most of the time that is out of our hands.

In our everyday lives we should be wise about engaging in every disagreement.

Romans 12:18(ERV)

Do the best you can to live in peace with everyone.

Sometimes it is not possible, so it is best to stay away from some people.

The things we should always resist are injustices, prejudices; racism, and all inequalities.

But that is rarely accomplished by arguing with someone in person or on the internet. That is done by voting, protesting in your way, or by financially supporting the ones who can change law, most importantly prayer.

We should do our part but constantly praying that God changes our hearts and the hearts of our leaders.

Peace is one of our most precious assets, but it is hard to maintain that peace by getting into unnecessary arguments or battles.

Peace is fundamental for our well-being and progress in life.

Proverbs 17:14(ERV)

The start of an argument is like a small leak in a dam. Stop it before a big fight breaks out.

Some of our media, some politicians, some religious leaders, and some activists on every side can have us fighting with each other for no reason.

Seek peace, most battles are not worth it, believe me in life we will have enough.

“Pick Your Battles” and protect your peace.

Pray for the safety and protection of all our servicemen and women around the world.
