Daniel 3:17-18(ERV)
V. 17 If you throw into the furnace, the God we serve can save us. And if he wants to, he can save us from your power.
V. 18 But even if God does not save us, we want you to know, King, that we refuse to serve your gods. We will not worship the gold idol you have set up.
Let me start by saying that Gods plan and purpose for our lives will ultimately come to pass, at times not how or what we want.
proverbs 19:21(ERV)
People might make many plans, but what the LORD says is what will happen.
In this world of Positive thinking, believing for great things, striving for purpose and destiny. I consider myself a positive person.
We all have plans for our lives or should, we all should plan.
Benjamin Franklin quote:
“He who fails to plan is planning to fail”.
But in all that, what if things don’t work out the way we want them to, will we stop being who we are.
Daniel and his companions were in a bad situation, about to be thrown into the furnace.
They were actually thrown into the furnace.
Daniel response of “Even if” God does not deliver us, we will still worship him only.
We all want things to work out in our lives, and we should, but what if God has something different for us.
What if it’s not even God but things just doesn’t work out, will we cease serving God.
Sometimes things are just delayed, some things we want may never happen.
Moses seen the promise land but never walked on, but he died believing in God.
We need to believe in God more than our dreams, our purpose or our destiny.
Who knows why certain things don’t work out for us, it can be heart breaking, frustrating and sad.
But “Even If”, we should never change how we feel about God or change the way we treat people.
Daniel and his companions ended up getting thrown into the furnace, but it was an opportunity for God to deliver them, but Daniel had an “Even If”.
Daniels relationship with God was not based on his victories, but the Sovereignty of God.
Being discouraged because things did not work out the way you wanted can cause you to not enjoy where you are in life, it can cause you to not be grateful for the people in your life.
I pray that it happens for you but if not keep moving forward.
Sometimes life’s rejections are a redirection into something or someone else.
Be encouraged today, if what you want has happens or not, always be true to God.
Remember, you are a winner, because you are on God’s side and God is for you.
Never give up on God and never give up on life.
Peace
