The Dimensions of God’s Love

Ephesians 3:18(NLT)

And may you have power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is.

God’s love has no limits, it can reach from the Guttermost to the Uttermost.

It can reach the highest mountain and flow to the lowest valley.

We have been and will be at different places in our lives, and God has and will always be there.

The Dimensions of God’s Love

1. Width(wide) God’s love goes behind racial boundaries, and God’s love goes behind geographical.

No other person or race is loved by God more than another.

There is nothing that we can do to cause God to love us more.

There is nothing we can do to cause God to love us less.

We can show the extension of God’s love by loving others by reaching out to others, by praying for others.

2. Length(Long)

God is long suffering towards us, God is patient towards us.

God wants all people to come to him, to look towards him, God gives us opportunity after opportunity.

God doesn’t give up on us let we can give up on others.

That’s not a sign of weakness, but that’s a sign of strength.

3. Depth(Deep)

Psalm 139:8b(NKJV)

If i make my bed in hell, you are there.

It shows how God love will be with us at the lowest parts of our lives.

Whether we are low or down by our own decisions or there by circumstances out of our control, God still is there.

We may be in such a bad place relationship wise, financial, again it could be by no fault of our own or by our decisions, God is there.

God is deep down with us, but wanting us to make better, wiser decisions to live better lives.

Some poor people are so low they may wonder if God is there, God is everywhere. God’s love is unconditional, unfailing, and sufficient for any situation.

4. Height(Long)

Psalm 139:8a(NKJV)

If i ascend into heaven, you are there. No matter how high we get in life God is there, we are there because of God.

God loves the poor, the downtrodden, the rejected, the forsaken. God also loves the rich, the wealthy, the prosperous, God loves all people regardless of the financial status.

As we God high in life, God only requirement is that we do not forget him.

Deuteronomy 8:18(NKJV)

And you shall remember the LORD your God, it is He that give you the power to get wealth

So if you are fortunate enough, blessed enough to gain wealth, do not fell guilty, God doesn’t love you any less.

Just remember me and help others.

Wherever we are in life, God is there.

We should never give up on ourselves or other people.

We are all in God’s hand.

We may never hang with certain people or be down with them, but God will always love them and be long suffering with them.

Thank God for his limitless love for us and for others.
