Keep on Praying and Never Give Up

Luke 18:1(CEV)

Jesus told his disciples a story about how they should keep on praying and never give up.

Life can get frustrating sometimes. We can get down and discouraged.

We have come too far to just come this far.

Whether the frustration is financial, domestic, relationship, career, or many things at one time, giving up is never the answer.

If we get tired, we should take a short break, unplug and get back with it.

When we unplug for a while and come back, many times, we can have a different perspective.

We start seeing the great things in our lives, things we may have been taking for granted.

Keep on Praying – Prayer Is communicating with God, not just talking to God but listening.

Praying is also a form of worship and Thanksgiving.

What can Prayer do:

1. Prayer can give us a different perspective. When we begin to thank God for the now. we can get a different perspective.

We can be so frustrated and disappointed about our past, and so worried about the future that we forget the now.

2. Prayer can empty us of doubt.

You begin to remember all that God has done and how far you have come.

3. Prayer can be refreshing for us.

Just sitting in God’s presence with prayer and listening to music can wash away so much stress and anxiety.

4. Prayer can give us hope.

Talking to God about how we feel and what we need can give us hope.

Hebrews 4:16(NLT)

So let us come boldy to the throne of our gracious God. There, we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.

Never Give Up:

Galatians 6:9(NLT)

So, let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At the right time, we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.

2 chronicles 15:7(NIV)

But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.

So in life’s ups and downs, we can hold to these two principles , Keep on praying, and never give up.

Let us encourage others, show kindness, mercy, concern, and pray for others.

We never know what people are going through.
