My Thoughts After 100 Blog Posts

When i first started wordpress blogging I did not know what to expect.

For me, it has been a wonderful experience, the interactions I have had have been amazing.

So many blogs have inspired, encouraged, challenged, and flat out made my day.

What it has done for me:

1. Given me a different platform to express my thoughts and views.

After public speaking for years, communicating on blog has been different but amazing for me.

2. Cause me to be more consistent in my writing.

I have a few books I have been working on, but consistency has been a problem.

3. I realize are some amazing bloggers on WordPress.

Some bloggers are strictly here to encourage and uplift; which is awesome.

Some bloggers are more informative and insightful and give help in many areas.

Some bloggers are more spiritual oriented, give spiritual insights and bible content.

Some bloggers travel and give travel tips and great vacation spots.

Some bloggers are just honest and share their successes and challenges.

Some bloggers are educators, philanthropists, medical people, other bloggers, writers, and even movie producers and directors.

Some bloggers talk about social issues and politics, and we may not all agree, but we can get alone.

Some bloggers are pastors and teachers, sharing biblical knowledge and direction.

We all have a place because we all have a voice.

What have i learn about my blogging:

1. Everyone will not like my content, but that is fine.

I’m not in competition with anyone.

2. I will continue to improve for myself and those who read my content.

3. Criticism will happen, some constructive and some seemingly hateful.

4. I have to always remember why I started, to have a platform for my thoughts and encouragement for others.

5. For me it can’t be about views and likes, but I understand why that’s more important for other people.

6. Just be myself, but continue to improve and do better.

7. I’ve traveled around the world, but to be communicating with people from around the world online is different amazing to me.

8. I can be more organized and format my content better.

9. At times I overthink, but I’m getting at not doing that.

Signing up on WordPress and blogging has been one of the best things that I have done, I certainly do not regret it.

So, if you are a blogger, you are amazing. Keep up the great work.
