Psalm 124:7-8(NLT)
V. 7 We escape like a bird from the net of a hunter. The bet broke, and we escaped!
V. 8 Our help came from the LORD, the one who made heaven and earth!
1 Corinthians 10:13(NLT)
The only temptations that you have are the same temptations that all people have. But you can trust God. He will not let be tempted more than you can bear. But when you are tempted, God will also give you a way to escape that temptation. Then, you will be able to endure it.
Escape – To be released or rescued, to be smooth or slippery, leap out, let go, delivered, exit, a way out.
God’s Escape Plan is not an escape as in running from our troubles and temptations, but we give our troubles and temptations to God.
Sometimes, in turning our troubles and temptations to God, he gives us something tangible to do to escape, and sometimes it’s walking away or making better decisions.
God also can do the supernatural to deliver us. Whatever it takes God will make a way out.
God’s way out may also be to give us the power and grace to ensure that trouble or temptation for a season.
Psalms 55:22(ERV)
Give your worries to the LORD, and he will care for you. He will never let those who are good be defeated.
We don’t have to escape to drugs, alcohol, food, unhealthy relationships, or any behavior that can become addictive.
When God gives us an out, it’s up to us to take in.
Have you ever been in a situation where you did not humanly see anyone way out.
Have you ever been in a relationship or friendship that you felt stuck in, and it was totally abusive, controlling, and manipulated by the other person.
But some way you made it out, that was God, God provided a way out, and you took it.
Financially many of us have had some rough times, but we made it through.
We have endured many health issues, some of us mental issues, but we made.
We are not perfect, but God has always helped us to escape and endure.
So, hopefully, all is well with you, but if not, God’s Escape Plan works.
God is the escape plan; God has and will always come through.
Our prayer does not have to be deep.
Matthew 14:30(NLT)
But when he saw the strong wind and the waves, he was terrified and began to sink, “Save me, Lord” he shouted.
We are never without hope.
Amen π
