Psalm 118:24(NLT)
This is the day the LORD has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.
Matthew 6:34(NLT)
So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow it will bring its own worries.
Each day is filled with blessings and challenges.
Lamentations 3:23(NLT)
Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.
We need God’s mercies every morning. Every day, we are faced with issues that we need God’s mercies.
God’s mercies are not just for when we fall or fail, but for when we are faced with challenges that we can’t overcome on our own.
The reason the Ants were a lesson in Proverbs 6:6, because they did not worry because they were prepared for hard times.
Every day, we should trust in God, but we should also be prepared.
We need God’s mercies because sometimes, even when we are prepared , we may face challenges that we are not ready for.
Billy Graham quote:
“Take one day at a time. Today, after all, was the tomorrow you worried about yesterday”
Abraham Lincoln quote:
“The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time,”
Lou Holtz quote:
“You build a successful life one day at a time.”
So, live your live your life. one day at a time. It doesn’t mean that we don’t plan and make good decisions.
We should always do the best we can to prepare.
But we will have challenges, that is why God’s mercies are new every morning, God’s compassion is fresh.
This world would have us worried about our kids’ college tuition the day they are born.
Again, prepare, pray, always do your best, but live this life, “One Day at A Time.”
If you fall short or fall down, keep trying to get to that point of living “One Day at A Time”.
It will not be easy, but possible.
God is so good. He always provide and He deserved all the praises.
