The Power of Unity and Agreement

Genesis 11:6(NLT)

“Look!” He said. “The people are united, and they all speak the same language. After this, nothing they set to do will be impossible for them!”.

Matthew 18:19(NLT)

I also tell you this: If two of you agree here on earth concerning anything you ask, my father in heaven will do it for you.

Unity – The state of being one, being together, the state of being united, or joined as a whole.

Agreement – An agreement is when two or more people agree to something together.

God created us to join together, even the world was created with a, let us.

Genesis 1:26a(NLT)

Then God said, “Let us make humans beings in our image, to be like us.

There is such power in agreement that in Genesis 11 if God would not have stopped them, the people would have built a tower to heaven.

This story symbolizes the pride of man, but at the same time, it showed that if people are united and in agreement nothing shall be impossible.

Genesis 2:18a(NLT)

Then the lord God said, “it is not good for man to be alone.

I know this verse is use as a verse just for marriage, but whether married or not we should never be living this life alone, we all need someone.

There are times where we may be alone, but that’s not the ultimate will of God for humans.

The will of God is for us to have people in our lives to agree with us, and us with them, for the things that may seem impossible.

Some things we can do or accomplish on our own; but there is nothing like having one or more agreement partners.

The principles of God are so powerful that people that don’t even confess God can apply these principles and reap the benefits.

Combining the principle of two or more agreeing with a life of trusting in God is even more powerful.

So always try to have someone in your life that you can engage with in agreement and praying for each other and praying for other people and situations.

It’s hard to trust people because we have been let down, but we can’t judge everyone by the decisions of some.

I have been through seasons of feeling alone, but God always sends someone into my life to come into agreement with.

That’s where community is important, whether a church community, or any support group, especially if you’re dealing with any addiction or abuse.

Matthew 18:20(NLT)

For when two or three gather together as my followers, I am among them.

Impossible becomes possible, with an agreement partners or partners and Jesus being among you.
