I Am, I Will

Isaiah 41:10(NKJV)

Fear not, for I Am with you; Be not dismayed, for I Am your God. I will strengthen you, I Will help you, I Will uphold you, my righteous right hand.

Twice in Isaiah 41:10 God says I Am, three times in Isaiah 41:10 God says I Will. God says, “I Am, I Will.”

Numbers 23:19(NKJV)

“God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that he should repent. Has He said, and He will do. Or has He spoken, and will he not make it good?

God never takes back his word like sometimes humans do. If God speaks something to you, it will happen. Maybe not on the time you may want it to but it will.

Most of us have been let down by people before. We have been promised things that never happened, whether it’s a promotion on a job or a raise on a job.

A relationship that we were told would last forever, or a promise of fidelity that did not happen.

Promised a marriage that was reniged on for whatever reason and it cause pain and heart ache.

We have had friendships that we thought would last forever, but something happened to cause that friendship to be damaged and it was never fixed.

You may have had your parents or other family members promised you things, and it never happened.

You may have loan money and items that were promised to be returned, but that person never did.

As hard as all of those are, for us to move on, we must realize that some people, not all, will let you down, and forgive.

People make promises, and for whatever reasons they let you down.

Some on purpose, they just lie, and some may be for other reasons.

Letting things go is not easy, but to move forward and have peace, we must, with God’s help, we must.

Hopefully we all have at least a couple of people who always keep their word, but for many that may not be the case.

One thing for sure is that God will never let us down, so fear not, and be not dismayed, God will always help us, God will always strengthen us, God will always uphold us.

God is not like some humans, God keeps his word, if God said it God will do it. So be encouraged, you may have been left down by a people, if not you probably will be one day. In time let it go, turn to the great I AM, God Will always come through.
