Psalms 11:3-4(NkJV)

V. 3 If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?

V. 4 The Lord us in his holy temple, the Lords throne is in heaven; His eyes behold, His eyelids test the sons of men.

The fear of the Lord is the foundation of wisdom, knowledge of the Holy one results in good judgment.

1 Corinthians 3:11(NLT)

For no one can lay any foundation other than the one we already have-Jesus Christ.

Foundation – The base on which something stands, support system, political or moral support.

From the beginning of time we have always had laws, some written and some unwritten.

We were always heard accountable for our actions.

Even when Cain killed Able before the physically Law he was held accountable.

Then when Moses was given the Ten commandments we had it in written.

But we continued to fall short so God sent his son Jesus to stand in our place.

Now we have social laws that we must obey and God laws which are still written but mainly in our heart. But we seem to have moved from any kind of accountability in this world.

We have political and religious leaders that seems to get away with everything, things that regular people are held accountable for in this society.

There is not much clear about what’s right or wrong, in society it depends on what political party or system that is in control.

In the church or religious system, it depends on the beliefs of that particular Pastors, Priest, or religious leaders.

But there is one thing clear, God is the ultimate king of Kings, and Jesus is the foundation of all we should stand on.

Our standard and goal should be to seek how Jesus lived and moved on this earth. Jesus was anointed, righteous, holy, but Jesus was merciful, compassionate, loving, and caring.

So as our earthly foundations seem to be crumbling, we have something that can not be shaken.

We must fight oppressors, manipulation, and control, and at the same know that our trust is not totally in man.

We should always pray, hope, and vote for leaders who will be fair, just, and who fear the Lord, but unfortunately that doesn’t happen all the time.

So when foundations of this world seem to crumble, look to the Lord, the foundation he has laid will never crumble.
