Control Your Controllables

Isaiah 8:12(ERV)

Don’t think there is a plan against you just because the people say there is. Don’t be afraid of what they fear. Don’t let them frighten you.

1 Peter 3:13-14(ERV)

13. If you are always trying to do good, no one can really harm you.

14. But you may suffer for doing right. If that happens, you have God’s blessing. Don’t be afraid of the people who make you suffer; don’t be worried.

Right now, in the United States and the world, there is so much fear. But everything is not a conspiracy even though it may seem that way.

We don’t know what’s real and what’s media propaganda or fear driving by world leaders and politicians.

Sometimes, we have to step away for a minute and just control what you can.

That is where prayer comes in. Prayer may not instantly change things, but it can change the way we look at things and help with our fear.

Some of the things you can control:

1. How we feel about ourselves

2. How we feel about others

3. What we believe about yourself

4. What we believe about others

5. What we allow in your mind(outside influences)

6. Who and what we listen too(faith and fear comes by hearing).

7. We can vote but after voting let it go.

8. We can decide to be happy inspite of

9. We can decide to smile in spite of

10. If we have a problem, help someone solve there’s.

11. We can and should voice our opinions but not get into senseless arguments

We don’t have all control, but we have some, but we should not constantly complain every day about everything, it is not healthy.

We can mess up our day by listening to the news or social media or news all day and not listening to things that will lift us up.

By getting in unedifying arguments and debates can ruin our day and we become less productive

I’ve only been blogging a couple of months, but I so appreciate my blogging family, so encouraging, uplifting, educational, insightful, and real.

In blogging, you can choose who you follow.

You don’t have to agree with everything but at least be respectful which most are.

Things we don’t have control of:

1. What happens after we vote

2. Things that others do or say

3. Things that others believe

4. Other people’s hate or prejudices

5. How things will end in this world

So let’s live our lives. Let’s become the best version of ourselves, let’s do our best to make an impact on humanity.

If one door closes for you, look for another one. Some things are bad, but try not to listen to people who just complain about things we can’t do anything about.

If we can physically, monetary, or spiritually impact something, then we should.

We are powerful, we are awesome, we are amazing, no one can take that from us, but we can give it up when we give them control.
