Helping Others

Galatians 6:9(CEV)

Don’t get tired of helping others. You will be rewarded when the time is right, if you don’t give up.

Acts 20:35(ERV)

I always showed you that you should work just as I did and help people who are weak. I taught you to remember the word of the LORD Jesus. You will have a greater blessing when you give than when you receive.

These days when our money doesn’t go as far as it has, where gas prices are high, all of our expenses seem to be more, it will be easy to lose care for others.

There is a certain natural high that comes with helping others, caring for others, encouraging others, God made it that way.

Helper’s High – Feeling of well-being that comes from helping others, after volunteering in our communities or helping a love one or friend in a tough time.

Helping others really helps you.

The Parable of the Good Samaritan, Luke 10:25-37, about 2 different people who normally had hate and disrespect for each others.

The Samaritan help the Jewish person who had been beaten and left in a ditch, took care of him.

So with this political, religious, and social divide we have, let’s remember that people are people.

Even a kind word or smile can make someone’s day, every thing does not have to turn into a debate.

Helping others can reduce stress, boost mental health, increase our own happiness.

That’s not why we do it but helping others has it’s benefits.

Helping Others, is the only way, don’t get tired of it, your reward will come.
