2 Corinthians 4:7(KJV)
But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
Treasure – Something or someone highly valued, prize possession, cherish, priceless.
That treasure inside gives is hope in times of difficulty, peace in the midst of confusion, the ability and insight to gain wealth and success.
So many times we look outside ourselves for value and acceptance, when our value is already inside us.
The amazing thing with God is that he knows our frailty and weaknesses and still has put The Treasure Inside of us.
The Treasure Inside has to be opened up, it is opened by:
1. By letting God’s light shine through our lives.
2. By sharing God’s goodness and mercy to others.
3. By being the best that we can be with the treasure God has put inside.
4. By showing God’s love and kindness to others.
5. By not giving up in times of adversity.
Never let anyone determine your value, but God.
Psalm 139:14, God speaking through David, says we are fearfully and wonderfully made.
Never let anyone determine your value or The Treasure Inside you, but God.
1. What we think and say about ourselves is important, hopefully it is always positive.
2. What others think and say about is less important or should be.
3. What God thinks and says about is the most important and God always wants what’s best for us.
That treasure is not determined by worldly success; but God wants us to be successful and prosperous.
So we must know who we are and know what is inside us.
Opening up that treasure gives us intangible and tangible blessing.
