Amazing today that many are choosing wealth, fame, riches over a good reputation, especially many of our leaders.
A Good Reputation – A positive, high regard opinion of someone, based on behavior, manners, credibility, and trustworthiness.
Not everyone will like you, for many different reason, jealousy, misunderstanding, or just hate.
Some will intentionally try to give you a bad reputation, you have no control of that, with social media our names and reputation can be severely damage, and that is unfortunate, the people that know you know better.
But whether by no fault of our own or by our own choices, a damaged reputation can be get better by us doing better.
Try not to never let anyone bad reputation be because of our character, or because of how treat others.
We should have good reputations on our jobs are on time and hard workers.
Most importantly we should have good reputations in our own homes, let us not treat others good and be mean to our own families.
Jesus even ask his disciples about his reputation, Jesus asked what are they saying about me, who do they say i am, that was important to Jesus and it should be important to us.
Our reputation should not be hateful to anyone that doesn’t live like us, think like us, or do not believe what we believe.
Jesus had a reputation of being friends with and receiving outcast and Pariahs.
Thousands of people followed Jesus around, Jesus made sure they were fed.
In this day some people feel like they can say what they want about others, talk to other people any kind of way.
We should desire to have a reputation of being nice, to cashiers, waiters, barbers, bank tellers, to the point where people are glad to see us.
True everyone will not like you, Jesus was loved by many but hated by a few.
If you’re part of any group that hate others groups, that’s not a good group.
Protect your reputation by treating people the way you want to be treated, what goes around comes around.
Benjamin Franklin quote:
“It takes many good deeds to build a good reputation, and only one bad one to lose it”
A Good Reputation, it’s more valuable than any possession.
