Promise Keepers

God is not like people, who lie; He us not a human who change his mind. What He promises He does; He speaks, and it is done.

Promise Keeper – Faithful, reliable, consistent, unwavering care and concern, unchangeable, honors words that are spoken.

In 1990 then coach of the Colorado Buffaloes, Coach Bill McCartney founded a men’s ministry called “Promise Keepers”, it was founded to help men be promise keepers to God, their families, and the community they lived in.

Speaker spoke about faith, relationships, leadership, and growing spiritually.

In 1996 “Woman of Faith was founded for similar reason.

Both are still around and helping many people in their everyday pursuit of being their best.

In all of the conferences and events we still fall short at times as humans, even our best efforts come shorts.

So many promises are made to us by family, friends, politicians.

It’s disappointing when promises are made but not kept, in some cases it can be devastating.

So many of us can fall short of their desire to do what they say, but some people just out right lie.

Politicians of every party can look at the camera and just lie. Some people can look you in your face and just lie, but God is not like that.

We should never excuse people for not keeping promises for no reason, I believe we all should be held accountable for not doing what we promised.

We should honor the people in our lives who do what they say, who are promise keepers. God is the ultimate “Promise Keeper”, God has a proven history of doing what He promised.

So be encouraged, if God said he will, he will, keep trusting and looking to him.
