Jeremiah 17:5(ERV)
This is what the LORD says: Bad things happen to those who put their trust in people. Bad things will happen to those who depend on human strength. This is because they have stopped trusting the LORD.
Trusting in the Lord does not mean we should not vote or become involved in our communities.
Trusting in the Lord does not mean that we should never voice our opinions.
But ultimately we know that our trust and faith is in God.
We want good and honest leaders, who will do what they say, who will have concern for every person under their rule, but even the good ones are limited.
Trusting In The Lord – Is having complete faith in God’s reliability, God’s wisdom, God’s love, relying on God’s because we have limited understanding of things.
Even when things are very difficult in our personal lives or the world around us, we still believe in God’s plans for our lives.
Proverbs 3:5(ERV)
Trust the LORD completely, on don’t depend on your own knowledge.
Watching the news, social media, we can become so overwhelmed with bad news, and draw our own conclusions based on what we heard.
Trusting in the Lord does not mean we hide from the truth, but we embrace the truth.
In the end we choose faith over facts, faith over fear, believing that God is ultimately in control and His Will will be done.
God’s promises and plans for our lives are not voided because of the times we live in.
So be encouraged, don’t be consumed by the news but be aware, for information purposes only.
Psalm 121:1
