Prince of Peace

Isaiah 9:6(NKJV)

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; And the government will be upon his shoulder. And his name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Might God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

It’s amazing in this season of Christmas, celebrating the birth of Christ, so many are lonely and depressed.

Jesus is:

1. Wonderful

Full of wonder and does amazing things, wants to do amazing things in all of our lives.

It’s hard to understand how amazing Christ is, full of wonder and miracles, we marvel at him.

2. Counselor

He wants to counsel us, he wants to advise when we don’t know what to do.

3. Mighty God

Power, strong brave, he stands besides us to help us through the trials of life. Fight our battles.

4. Everlasting Father

So many are fatherless, have no one to lean on, but Jesus is the fatherless who last forever.

He will never leave or forsake us.

5. Prince of Peace

Master of peace, ruler of peace.

John 16:34(NKJV)

These things I have spoken to to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

For those who have rough times during the Christmas season, remember Christ came to give us peace.

For those at peace, enjoy the season but be mindful of the less fortunate ones.

Life may brings back bad memories for some during this season.
