Our Source of Strength

Isaiah 40:29(ERV)

He helps tired people be strong. He gives power to those without it.

Psalm 73:26(ERV)

Maybe my mind and body will become weak, but God is my source of strength. He is mine forever.

Philippians 4:13(ERV)

Christ is the one who gives me the strength I need to do whatever I must do.

Source – The place where something comes from or starts, the point where something begins.

Strength – Spiritual and Physical ability, fortitude, determination, power, strength gives us the ability to endure, power.

When trying to succeed strength is essential and when going through hard times strength is essential.

God is not just our strength in hard times, but God also gives us the strength to be successful.

Hopefully, we all have family and friends to lean on, but their strength and abilities are limited.

Our family and friends are humans like we are, they can let us down and we can let them down.

Many of us have felt that when we needed others, they were not there, the Apostle Paul in the Bible felt that way at times.

2 Timothy 4:16-17(ERV)

V. 16 The first time I defended myself, no one helped me. Everyone left me. I pray that God forgive them.

V. 17 But the LORD stayed with me. The LORD gave me strength so that I could tell the Good News.

God will never leave or forsake you. Look to him for your strength.

The LORD has helped us get through 100 percent of our bad days, but we are still here moving forward.

So when we are going through hard times, we don’t have to fake being strong, especially to God, because he is our source of strength.

When things are going well, we give God the glory for seeing us through the tough times.

Deuteronomy 8:18(NLT)

Remember the LORD your God. He is the one who gives you power to be successful.
