Attitude – A way if thinking about someone or something, which is refected in personal behavior.
Gratitude – Being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for others goodness and kindness towards you.
Someone once said, “Your attitude determines your Altitude”.
How far we go in life upward can be a reflection of our attitude.
Having an attitude of gratitude to God as well as the other people in our lives.
Not just the people that have treated us right but even the people who have mistreated us can have a positive influence on our lives.
We must be grateful for our past overall, the good, bad, and the ugly, it all helped us become who we are.
1. Attitude of Gratitude for God
1 Chronicles 16:34 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, his love endures forever.
Even when we have fallen short, God love for us endures through all of our shortcomings.
All the adversity and trouble we have faced, God stuff with us, God will never leave or forsake us.
Through all of our personal issues, domestic issues, financial issues, and health issues physically and mentally, God has always been there and we are forever grateful.
We have an attitude of Gratitude for our awesome God.
2. Attitude of Gratitude for ourselves
Psalm 139:14 I will praise you for i am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well.
The Psalmist is speaking of himself being fearfully and wonderfully made.
Being grateful for who we are and how uniquely God has made us can be vital to a positive outlook on life.
All of the battles we have come through and victories we have won, we have had our good days and we have had our bad days, we are still here and for that we are grateful.
Besides God, we should be our biggest cheer leader

Love Your neighbor as you love yourself
We can’t really love others if we aren’t grateful for ourselves and loves ourselves.
A lot of times, the way people treat you is a reflection of how they love themselves.
Attitude of gratitude for ourselves is vital to how we progress in life.
Knowing who we are and whose we are will eliminate a lot of comparing ourselves to others.
3. Attitude of Gratitude for Others
Ephesians 1:16 I have not stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly.
Always show your appreciation for those who have blessed us in so many ways.
Appreciation can be shown verbally, financially, and by being there for those who have been there for us.
It’s can be frustrating when some family or friends only only communicate they need something and get upset if we don’t give them what they ask for.
I’m more motivated to help those close to me who show Gratitude.
Let’s be grateful for all the wonderful people in our lives who have helped us become who we are.
Don’t forget those who poured into our lives in many ways.
Attitude of gratitude for others, show God that we not only appreciate him, we not only appreciate ourselves, but we appreciate others also.
Finally, we show our Attitude of Gratitude to God by allowing him to use our lives as lights for this world.
All that we are, all the material positions, gifts, and talents, we surrender to God for service to mankind.
So we show our attitude of gratitude by being kind to others today.
