Who Will We Believe

Numbers 13:30-32(ERV)

V. 30 Caleb told the people near Moses to be quiet. Then Caleb said, “We should go up and take that land for ourselves. We can easily take the land. ”

V. 31 But the men who had gone with him said, We can not fight those people. They are stronger than we are.

V. 32 So those men gave a report that discouraged the people. They said, “The land we saw is full of people. They are strong enough to easily defeat anyone who goes there.

The bible is full of amazing events,. This one is not any different.

The people of God were sent to spy out the land that God hand promised, 12 spies were sent into Canaan, including Joshua and Caleb.

The spies seen a land filled with milk and honey, a fruitfulness land. But only one problem, there were Giants there, and the spies saw themselves as less than as grasshoppers.

But Caleb, who was one of the spies, stood up in the mist of the people crying and said we are more than able to defeat them.

Every promise you have, every dream you may have, every vision in your life, there will always be opposition, some things just life and some adversary.

People in our lives sometimes will try to discourage us from moving forward because of their own fears, there will always be challenges and challenging times.

Caleb didn’t say that there were not Giants, but Caleb said in spite of the Giants we are able.

In todays world of gloom and doom news, things can seem overwhelming, but if we choose to believe God’s report for our lives, we can be encouraged.

Jeremiah 29:11(ERV)

I say this because I know the plans that I have for you. This message is from the Lord. I have good plans for you. I don’t plan to hurt you. I plan to give you hope and a food future.

God’s plans for us do not change because of the economy, other peoples opinions or because of news reports.

Believe God’s report, God’s report doesn’t mean things will be perfect, but it can give us more hopeful and encouragement.

There are so many negative reports today and we should be aware of current events and things that are happening.

They may get us down, but we should not let them keep us down.

In spite of what we hear or see, we should believe God’s report, the best is yet to come, great things are happening in the mist of so much bad.

We were born for such a time as this.

Let’s believe God’s report and seize the moment.
