Receiving and Giving, The Cycle of Life.

Ecclesiastes 5:19(NLT)

And it’s good to receive from God and the good health to enjoy it. To enjoy your work and accept your lot in life-this is indeed a gift from God.

2 Corinthians 9:8(NLT)

And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left to help others.

Most theologians and spiritual people say it is giving and then receiving, but I believe we have been given life, and when material things come we must share, it can start both ways, its a cycle.

A lot of us have received much more than we think we do.

We have what’s inside, which is most important anyway, God gave us life and the ability to produce and be fruitful.

Some of us have been blessed with so much more, as we continue to give we will continue to receive, this is truly a cycle.

We can feel unworthy to receive or feel like if we receive we feel, like we are indebted to a person, that is understandable so we must use wisdom is receiving and giving.

Receiving – To take possession of, receive a gift, to be a recipient.

There is so much hurt and suffering in the world that sometimes we can be almost made to feel guilty because of what we may have.

If not careful, we can miss out on a lot in an attempt to feel humble. If you have worked hard for what you have, you have no reason to feel guilty.

We can miss out on a lot of blessings by having false humility, which we need to learn to receive.

Not just receiving material things but friendships, relationships, and collaborations that can be assets to our lives.

What we need can be right in front of us, but we can have so much pride and false humility.

God blesses us, but God uses people. Let’s not drown when God has sent people our way to rescue us. Let’s learn to receive help in whatever way God may send it.

Giving – To provide money or material things to someone or to charity. To provide emotional or spiritual support to someone.

To give you have to receive, you can’t give what you do not have.

Winston Churchill quote:

“We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.”

It’s not just giving money or things but giving love and concern, especially for others who are less fortunate than us.

A smile can go a long way. Just being nice to people can bless their day.

So let’s not just be receivers, but let’s giving, let’s let go of some of the things we have received.

Some people complain about not having friends, but they are not friendly themselves.

Whatever we give we get, whatever we get, let’s give.

Receiving and Giving, the cycle of life.
