Lawlessness

Matthew 24:12(NKJV)

And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.

Lawlessness – Disregard for the law, violating the law, no regard for the law.

When some people think of lawlessness, they may think of that criminal in the streets, or that thief, robbers etc, all of that is true.

We are living in a day now that the very ones who are supposed to be carrying out the law are violating it.

Our political, social, and religious leaders.

That’s not any particular political party or group, our leaders have totally disrespect for the law, the constitution and other leaders.

Our leaders openly talk bad and disrespectful about each other and we wonder why many of our kids do not respect authority.

The result is that the love of many are growing cold, we are celebrating the mistreatment of people.

Matthew 9:36

Jesus saw helpless and hopeless people were, and he had compassion on them.

Today some can see how people are treated and not just tolerate it but celebrate it.

The main law breakers are not the criminal on the streets but the social, political, religious, business leaders in nice suits.

Now, there are still good people in every area of life, so I’m not generalizing it, but it’s sad to see.

So, let’s not lose our compassion for others because of the lawlessness of some of our leaders.

Let’s not let our love for humanity grow cold.
