Small Beginnings

Zechariah 4:10a(CEV)

Those who have made fun of this day of small beginnings, will celebrate when they see Zerubbabel holding the important stone.

When starting something new, when starting over after a failure, or stopping something and starting again, it can be discouraging if you compare your journey with others.

Some people may make fun of you, but believe me, some of those people will celebrate you in the in.

When i first logged onto the WordPress site to start blogging, I saw some folks with thousands of subscribers, I doubted myself for a second.

Then I remembered that I didn’t start for followers or subscribers, I really wanted to get my thoughts out, and blogging was the best option for me.

Plus when I look at my overall life and where I came from, my Small Beginnings, I’ve already won, so I’m not in this for attention, but I do have something to say, I do have a voice and so do you.

So whether you are starting a ministry, starting a blog, starting your education, starting a new job, starting a business, starting your own foundation or nonprofit, starting to write books, even starting a family, don’t compare yourself with others.

If you really want success:

1. Realize that everyone will not like you in whatever you do.

2. Always do your best, work hard at whatever you do.

3. Get the tools to become your best, whether more education or getting advice from those who have succeeded.

4. Never want to succeed at the expense of someone else failure.

5. Celebrate other people’s success, the positive energy you put out comes back to you.

6. Remember, it’s not how or where you start from, keep improving.

7. Be grateful to the people that encourage you or help you in any way, show gratitude.

If you have had some success:

1. You should never look down on those who are just getting started.

2. Give constructive criticism with love, if asked.

3. Remember where you can from, you didn’t start where you are.

4. Always be encouraging. Sometimes, nothing said is better than discouraging someone.

5. Always hope others succeed at whatever they are pursuing, unless it is hurtful to others.

6. Continue to improve yourself, we all can learn at any level.

7. Never forget to show gratitude to those who have help you along the way.

Remember in life, it’s not who you are, it’s what you become. It’s not where you start, it’s how you finish.

If you get tired, don’t give up just, take a break, and come back ready to go.

If you do think about quitting, think about why you started. Think about how far you have come.

Keep Moving Forward
