What Fuels Your Soul

John 4:34(ERV)

Jesus said, “My food is to do what the one who sent me wants me to do. My food is to finish the work that he gave me to do”.

Never underestimate the mission that God has given you, it could be your source of spiritual fulfillment and nourishment.

Just as food sustains our physical bodies, spiritual sustenance can come from doing the work God has for you.

Jesus’ disciples were concerned that he had not eaten, but he was ministering to the lady at the well.

When we are in our purpose and doing what you have been created to do, we can get energy that can sustain us.

For some, it is a job that we get paid for, and for some, it’s philanthropy, volunteering at some local charity, but always have a work, whether paid or volunteer that feeds your soul.

Now we should eat and hopefully a healthy diet, but there is nothing like the fuel that comes from fulfilling your purpose in life or doing something that is passionate for you.

Many of us are compassionate about different things than others.

So don’t feel bad that your fuel may come from writing, studying, teaching, inspiring, and blogging, some just want to raise their kids to be the best that they can.

Many are doctors, lawyers, politicians, technology, etc, what works for you.

Some get more fuel from meeting people’s physical needs, some from meeting people’s spiritual needs, some or intellectuals that get fuel from learning and sharing knowledge.

People need to eat and be inspired, Jesus taught parables and physically fed people.

We have different missions, we should not feel bad that what fuels others’ souls doesn’t fuel ours, and we should not get upset that what fuels our soul may not fuel others.

Find what unlocks your passion, find what feeds your soul, and live a life of fulfillment.

Comparisonitis – Compulsion to compare one’s accomplishments to another’s to determine relative importance. It can lead to feelings of inadequacy or inferiority, know your worth and importance.

Comparisonitis is a decease that can kill or limits dreams. So be fine with who you are, be fine with what fuels your soul, become the best version of yourself that you can.

Some things we do out of responsibility or need, but some things really fuel our soul.

Impact your world while fueling your soul.
