The Power Of The Pen

Habakkuk 2:2(NKJV)

Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run that reads it.”

Jeremiah 30:2(NKJV)

This spake the Lord God of Israel, saying, “Write in a book for yourself all the words that I have spoken to you.”

Along with learning how to talk, one of the first things a kid learns is how to write.

Through school, we have classes/courses in grammar, spelling, and pronunciation.

Through that, we learn how to communicate in whatever language of the country or area we live.

As we get older, we learn how much power the pen has, the written word has just as much power as the spoken word.

The Power Of The Pen – The pen is mightier than the sword. The pen has the power to achieve more than a sword does. The pen symbolizes creativity and self-expression.

For book writers, poets, artists, bloggers, the pen is a way to express imagination and ideas.

We type text others on our phones, we send emails on our phones, typing is a huge part of our lives, and we don’t have to use typewriters anymore, so many have never seen a typewriter before:).

If not for the pen, we would not have recorded history in such books as the Bible, other sacred books, and religious books, we would not have history books, encyclopedias.

With the pen, we have daily journals, we make grocery lists, love letters, and we can write biographies and autobiographies.

With the pen comes comes awesome responsibility and accountability.

The Power Of The Pen:

1. The Pen can encourage others

2. The pen can discourage others

3. The pen can bring us together

4. The pen can separate us

5. The pen can uplift a soul

6. The pen can crush a soul

7. The pen can give others tools to help us succeed. Even with youtube, podcasts, web cam, and other video feeds on social media, the pen is still a vital source of relaying information and thoughts.

When i say the pen, that doesn’t mean just on paper but also means the ability to type on data devices, like cell phones, laptops, desktop computers, on sites like Facebook, Instagram, blogging sights and others.

So let’s not take for granted the power that we have in writing. It is a powerful tool to relay our thoughts, people’s lives are at stake, it is an awesome responsibility.

We never know who is reading the content we put out. Some people intentionally put out content to hury others. Just because someone may not agree with us it’s doesn’t mean that we should use our power of the pen to hurt them.

There is nothing wrong with a respectful written reply of disagreement.

But lately, the hate and anger in some has made social media almost unbearable. With the pen, we learn about the successes of others people and other nations.

We learn about the oppression and injustices going on in the United States other countries. Sometimes, our media or social media doesn’t give us true stories or the full stories.

With social media because of bullying some have hurt themselves, hurt others, taking their own life or taken the life of someone else.

So, if you are using your power for good, remember your books, blogs, text messages, and other writings are making a difference, keep inspiring others, keep encouraging yourself, and write encouraging words to yourself.

Keep creating content to help others, I read so many diet tips, health fitness tips, tips on blogging and writing, so much inspiration and encouragement.

so much good is being done in the world, I learn so much by just reading.

The Power Of The Pen, we all have access to that power, hopefully we use it for good.
