John 13:7(NLT)
Jesus replied, “You don’t understand now what I AM doing, but someday you will.
Jesus time on this earth was coming to a close, Christ mission on earth was almost finished.
Jesus disciples never fully understood his mission, they never really understood some of the things he said and did and when Jesus was actually crucified their lives were torn apart, they had followed him around and saw so many great things.
They really thought Jesus was to one to save them from all their oppressors and adversaries here on earth.
That’s how our lives can be on this earth, we can experience so many victories, have so much success and when one thing doesn’t go the way we think it should, we can be crushed.
Many times, we tend to concentrate more on the disappointments, because we are human.
1. Disappointments in relationships
2. Jobs that didn’t work out
3. Business failures
4. Friendships that didn’t workout
5. Financial difficulties
6. Health issues
Then, when we look back on our lives now that heartbeat relationships wasn’t good for us anyway, but we didn’t understand it at the time.
That job was a distraction but we thought it was a loss.
That’s Business was stressing us out and draining us. We thought it was our future.
That friendship was one-sided and took all our time, energy, and emotions, but we were crashed when it ended.
Those financial difficulties taught us to be better stewards of our finances.
Those health issues taught us to take better care of ourselves, exercise, eat better, and get our rest.
So life brings so many challenges, but if we just hang in there, we will understand better later.
People have treated us badly, but God was opening our eyes to who they really were. They were not part of our future.
Things like death of a family member, friend, or any tragedy our human minds may never understand on this side, but all things in life end up working out for our good even if we do not understand.
Romans 8:28(NLT)
And we know that God causes everything to work together for good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
Someday you will understand, if not if this life, in the life to come, be encouraged.
