Because of our Faith

2 Timothy 4:7(ERV)

I have Fought a good fight, I have Finished the race, I have kept the Faith.

Because of our Faith we can fight.

Fight – To contend with an adversary; to struggle.

A fight is not just with a person or persons, but life is a fight, a struggle.

One thing I realize in life is that although we lean and depend on God, you have yo have a certain toughness about you to overcome life challenges.

We are in a war, spiritual and physical, we have to pray but we have to be willing to role up our sleeves and get dirty.

We must pray to God for better health and more wealth but we must be willing to do what it takes to stay healthy and wealthy, spiritually and physically.

Matthew 11:12

Violent take the Kingdom by force

Even when the Israelites went into the promise land they had to fight for their promises.

We are in a fight, we that are strong should help the weak until they hopefully get strong enough to fight for themselves.

We don’t have to just sit around and let certain things happen, especially if we have some say or can do something about.

We shouldn’t complain about things that we allow.

Even in friendships and relationships, we teach people how to treat us, fight for your boundaries and space.

There used to be a saying in sports and it applies to life, I’m not going out without a fight.

Nehemiah 4:14c(ERV)

You must fight for your brother’s, your sons, and your daughters! You must fight for your wives and your homes. For us it’s mainly spiritual but there may come times when it’s physical.

Because of our Faith we can finish.

Finished – Complete, execute, conclude, to bring to a close or end. Finishing what we start is vital to a successful life.

John 19:30

Jesus said it is finished

Just like Jesus was a finisher, we must never stop or give up until all that we were supposed to accomplish is accomplished, and that will not be until we die.

Faith is a gift from God

Hebrews 11:1(ERV)

Faith is what makes real the things we hope for. It is proof of what we cannot see.

The reason we keep fighting is because of faith, the reason we finish is because of faith. It starts and ends with faith.

Hebrews 11:6(ERV)

Without faith no one can please God. Whoever comes to God must believe that he is real and he rewards those who try to find him.

2 Timothy 6:12a(ERV)

We have to fight to keep our faith. Try as hard as you can to win that fight.

Don’t stop believing, life can get tough, but God is with us and for us.
