little by little I will drive them out before you, until you have increased enough to take possession of the land.

Dishonest money dwindles away, but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow.

Sometimes in life, we are so motivated to get to a certain place that we may forget how far we have come, little by little.

We live in such a microwave society that we want things in an instance, we hate waiting, most things in life worthwhile having may take some time, that’s where patience comes in.

We can rush into relationships, friendships, start businesses before we are ready. We took a while to get into debt but we want to get out overnight.

There used to be a saying used frequently, called baby steps.

Baby steps – Refer to small or tentative actions, processes, or stages in the advancement towards a larger or more difficult goal, it metaphorically describes the process.

In trying to compare ourselves to others, we can try to by pass some steps and the process.

God did not drive out the Israelites’ enemy all at one time, but little by little. We can become angry with God and disappointed in ourselves when things don’t happen when we think they should.

So be encouraged, and keep your head up.

Don’t just look at how far you have to go but look at how far you have come.

Even when dealing with others, your family, friends, co-workers, compliment them on small improvements.

If you’re trying to lose weight, just be constant with your diet and exercise, be patient.

Remember, life is not a sprint. It’s a marathon, you’re doing great.
