“God Open Our Eyes”

1. So that we can see clearly

2 So that we can see our purpose

3. So that we can clearly see our gifts

4. So that we can clearly see our worth and value

5. So that we can clearly see our impact

6. So that we can clearly see our influence

7. So that we can clearly see who is really with us and for us

8. So that we can clearly see that our future is bright

9. So that we may have sight and insight

Genesis 21:19(KJV)

And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water.

Hagar was in the wilderness with her son, Ishmael, they had ran out of water. She had been kicked out the house, all her resources had run out.

Disappointment in the past can cause us not to see our provision right in front of us; in plain sight.

Some Theologians believe the well was always there, but Hagar couldn’t see it because she was crying so much and her head was down.

2 kings 6:17(KJV)

And Elisha prayed and said, LORD open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw.

It’s amazing how others can see things we have around us and we don’t. The power of a praying partner, friend, they may see stuff that you don’t and pray for your eyes to be opened.

Mark 8:25(NLT)

Then Jesus placed his hands on the man’s eyes again, and his eyes were opened. His sight was restored, and he could see everything clearly.

Jesus touched this man twice, but the second touch caused him to see clearly.

Luke 24:31(NLT)

Suddenly, their eyes were opened, and they recognized him. And at that moment, he disappeared.

These disciples had followed Jesus for a couple of years but they were so distraught that they didn’t even recognize him at first.

Acts 9:18(ERV)

Immediately, something that looked like fish Scales fell of Saul’s eyes. He was able to see! Then he got up and was baptized.

The great Apostle Paul had to have scales fall from his eyes to see his purpose and vision.

Psalms 139:14

I will praise thee; for I AM fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

Our eyes are fully open when we can see and say that about ourselves.

Prayer:

God open our eyes that we may see, where we should be, who we should be with, what we should be doing, give us a glimpse of our future, let us recognize our connections and friends, if what we need we have near us or in us then open our eyes to see it, if not then open our eyes to look where it is.
