Scent of Hope

“Scent of Hope”

So Job was so depressed, he had no hope, he said if I die my body will dry up.

Many of us have been down and still get down, maybe not like Job, but most of us have suffered great loss at one time or another.

I’m not trying to be a pollyanna because I get down myself, but we can dream again. We can be refreshed again.

Job 14:7-9(KJV),

V. 7

For there is hope of a tree, if if be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease.

V. 8

Though the root thereof was old in the earth, and the stock thereof die in the ground:

V. 9

Yet through the scent of water it will bud, and bring forth boughs like a plant.

The tree don’t need water to get excited, just the scent of water or anticipation of it can cause  it begin to bud.

That’s how our lives are, sometimes things don’t suddenly change, we just need hope that they will to get excited, “Scent of Hope”, just smell hope and change.

That’s why reading the bible and other positive books, blog posts are so powerful, it gives us hope, especially when we meditate on God’s word.

Psalm 1:3(KJV)

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season, his leaf also shall not wither, and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

“Scent of Hope”, our lives may seem dry at times, our dreams and ambitions may seem dry, our relationships, friendships may cause you to be down, finances may be dry, but hang in there.

I’m believing for you that you will begin to believe again, and the “Scent of Hope” will begin to refresh you.

Don’t stop believing. Your due season will come, and your due season will return, if we are in a good place let us bring hope to others.
